FAQs
1. ARE CHILDREN WELCOME? Yes, children are welcome. We encourage children to attend the music workshops and to participate in and listen to the jam sessions. 16 and under are free for all events.
2. CAN TICKETS BE REFUNDED? Ticket Refunds: Refunds on ticket purchases can be made up to 7 days in advance of the event (by midnight ET May 9) , the customer will be required to cover the cost of refund fees.
3. WHERE IS THIS EVENT IN RELATION TO THE NATIONAL PARK AREA?
- Our event is held in the upper town area, above the historic park area. For those who also want to visit the historic park area with shops and museums, it is a 15-20 minute walk from the upper town where our venues are located to the lower park area. You can also enter from the Park area, use the shuttle for the day, and experience some of our daytime events from that entrance (check Park shuttle information, you will need to do some walking to and from the upper and lower areas).
We recommend centering your acitvity in the upper town area. You might consider spending an extra day and visiting the historic village the day before, or the day after, our events.
3. IS THERE PUBLIC PARKING?
PARKING - Parking on Washington Street and within the Bolivar town limits is free (west of the fire station). In Harpers Ferry town limits, parking is permitted ONLY on Washington Street (no side streets) and requires ParkMobile payment from 8 am to 6 pm. After 6pm Washington St. parking is free.
The Barn of Harpers Ferry has a parking lot for its customers.
- In addition to street parking...there are public lots listed here...
ALL DAY FREE PARKING can be found at the Mather Lot, at 54 Mather Place. It is walkable to the events, but we suggest you bring a small backpack to carry your belongings so that you don't need to make frequent walks to and from your car.
AFTER 5pm - There is ALSO FREE PARKING available in the National Park Parking Lot, on Fillmore Street, behind the unused Shipley schoolhouse. This parking lot is a couple of blocks from the Camp Hill Methodist Church, and within walking distance of the other events.
